Clint Eastwood’s film Invictus, follows post Apartheid South African President Nelson Mandela (Morgan Freeman), as he unites the nation through his controversial support of the white sport – Rugby. He befriends the captain (Matt Damon) and “fires up” the national team, the Springboks, eventually inspiring them to win the World Cup in 1995.
